Well, I made a mandate of what it means.

Listing as a member and, if you wish, sharing of your e-mail address with fellow fans
Discounts on practically everything in the site shop
Competition entry offers should the opportunity arise
Some of the first members will win a Girl, Interrupted DVD and Hackers tape
50p (about 80¢) of every subscription will be donated to the UNHCR to support Angelina’s efforts
...and, of course, a membership document and laminated membership card endorsed by Lord Harris of Milton
Who knows - with enough members perhaps an event, perhaps an event with Ms. Jolie herself.
All this for a nominal joining fee of £4.50 in the UK, or US$5.50 elsewhere (postage costs !), and a small annual renewal fee of £2.00 (US$3.00).
