Brief synopsis -
Released on February 20th (US) and April 24th (UK) was basically a remake of “The Talented Mr. Ripley”

Recent murders in-and-around Montreal lead local law enforcement to question a possible serial killer, hence drafting in respected FBI agent/profiler Illeana Scott (Angelina Jolie). They quickly realise that this killer takes on the life of his victims across Northern America.

His latest attack was witnessed, and Costa (Ethan Hawke) is brought in for questioning.

The official web-site of Taking Lives is available at http://takinglives.warnerbros.com/ ... where there is cast information, plot information, trailers and a gallery. Will pick out what I can soon enough.
Review - by Paul Harris (male)
Thoughts/Opinions - Yet another in the serial killer genre and it has little to differentiate itself. In and of itself a fair film, with some humourous moments of gore and ‘scary’ dark moments, plus a strange but predictable twist at the end, but on the whole a little disappointing. Angelina was suited to the role, but I don’t feel she excelled herself. Still though she found time for an emotional display and a gratuitous sex-scene.
