Brief synopsis -
Al, who is a nice guy who stumbles into a weekend of wacky intrigue when he gives Ellie (Angelina Jolie) a ride from Los Angeles to the Mojave Desert (hence, the Moon seen in the Mojave). Al never expects Ellie to fall in love with him, nor does he expect to fall for her mother Julie. When Julie’s lunatic boyfriend shows up, Al gets more action the he wanted.
Review - by Paul Harris (male)
Thoughts/Opinions - Angelina with her penchant for crime films somehow manages to slot in some gratutious nudity as a ‘jail bait’ daughter trying to snare a man for her mother. Reasonably well constructed film, albeit a little weak. Not quite comedy, not quite drama, not quite action. Worth watching, but not often.

Thoughts/Opinions - A very interesting film! Somewhat hard to describe. Angie gets to do all the trademark crying, shouting and some nudity but the film is bizarre and you’ll either love it, hate it or like me be left thinking “what?!”
